1/5 HP 12 Volt DC Gearmotor
Features:
Simple Pump Co. manufactures both a 1/10 and a
1/5 horsepower gear head. This is powered by a
customer supplied 12 volt DC power source. The
power source can be a portable battery, a vehicle
parked nearby or more permanent power sources
such as wind or solar. It can be powered Photo
Voltaic direct using customer supplied solar panels.
The 1/10 HP Gearmotor is able to pump pressures
of a maximum 240 feet total head with a Gallon
per Minute rate of 0.5. The 1/5 HP Gearmotor is
able to pump pressures of a maximum 480 feet
total head with a Gallon per Minute rate of
0.5.The delivery rate on both models can vary
between 1/2 and 2 gallons a minute depending
on the total head. With 12 hours of pumping per
day this translates to between 360 and 1440 gallons
per day.
The Gearmotor assembly is sold as a bolt-on
option for our existing hand pumps. It can be
installed in about five minutes.
The Gearmotor is fully enclosed for outdoor installations.
It motor is fuse protected and has its own
on off switch. The average power consumption of
the 1/10 HP moter is between 50 and 60 watts with
a maximum current draw of 9 amps, while the 1/5
HP motor use an average of between 100 and
120 watts with a maximum current draw of
18 amps. See product guarantee information

Warranty: Simple Pump Company warrantees the gearmotor assembly against defective materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The motor load must not be exceeded and any routine maintenance recommended in the instructions must be adhered to.
Shipping is usually by UPS ground in the continental US except Alaska which may be by air. If you are placing a large order you may want to call us for the shipping price.
