These bows are hand made by master craftsman and artist Johnny Chattin. Johnny Chattin is a Cherokee Indian who uses his extrodinary skills to craft these ethnic long bows made from eastern hardwoods. These are not just works of art, but are powerful working bows. Johnny designed them for shooting. They are approximately 72 inches long. The draw weight is approximately 80 pounds. They will shoot either Johnny's handmade hunting arrows or commercial arrows. We use commercial arrows for target practice. They are less prone to getting stuck in the target. This bow is a deadly weapon. It should be stored out of the reach of children. Children should always be supervised by an adult when using a bow and arrow. Never dry fire a bow. Dry firing a bow can cause serious injury to the archer and can damage or break the bow.
