This is a vintage copy of a classic book on golf. Dr. Cary Middlecoff, a well known and very popular golfer wrote this book shortly after winning the U.S. Open. He reveals all his secretes for consistency in his game. The book is forwarded by his friend, Bob Hope. There is a great picture of Dr. Middlecoff and Bob Hope in the forward.
This is a very rare book. Do not confuse it with other recent books of a similar name. Only the original hard cover book written by Dr. Cary Middlecoff who gave up being a dentist at the urging of his father to go pro and become one of the golfing greats is the true Golf Doctor. This copy belonged to my father who was a fan of Cary Middlecoff and used the book for many years to improve his game and to teach me.
